I was incredibly lucky to be able to spend most of yesterday with Kim from Chel Photo. I am continually thankful for our collaborations. Here are some of the photos that resulted from our creative process.
This dress was my mom’s in the 1980s – so thankful that she kept a lot of her old wardrobe.
This suede jacket is one of my favourites. I love how the style is almost a replica of the style made popular by the punk-rocker era. Also this choker is one of my new favourite additions to my jewelry collection, it is from Hillberg and Berk.
These beautiful sheer pieces are designed and made by Laurie Brown. I wore this exact top in my very first runway show back in 2014 for Laurie Brown.
I will continue to be a huge supporter of socks and heels.
Here are the trousers featured in my last post, I am clearly obsessed.
Thank you again Kim for such a great day at your studio!
I am continually searching for a lust for life – things that inspire me and motivate me to continue on with my journey. I am constantly wondering which path to wander down and which road to follow…. life is confusing at best, however learning what makes me excited to be alive is where I have tried to put the majority of my energy and flourish in. Bringing vintage items alive again and purchasing items secondhand is one way I am able to satisfy the desire to be a more sustainable blogger. Here’s to you in finding your lust for life.

Thank you Lauren Greve for the photography
This is my new favourite go-to outfit and I think I love it so much because these jeans were my mother’s jeans in the early 1990s! I paired them with this incredibly soft cashmere sweater I found at Value Village (thrifted is always best), as well as with some neutral accessories. These boots always remind me of Stevie Nicks.

Hello all! Things are finally starting to warm up in Saskatoon but I am still restricted to my patio for pictures because everywhere else is full of snow and mud! Today I decided to work my mom’s 1980’s boots into an outfit because I love them. They remind me of Stevie Nicks’ boots! Layering with scarves and long cardigans is really fun and is a great way to show off many articles of clothing. I am wearing:
Shirt: Cheap Monday
Jeans: American Eagle
Necklace: American Eagle
