I was incredibly lucky to be able to spend most of yesterday with Kim from Chel Photo. I am continually thankful for our collaborations. Here are some of the photos that resulted from our creative process.
This dress was my mom’s in the 1980s – so thankful that she kept a lot of her old wardrobe.
This suede jacket is one of my favourites. I love how the style is almost a replica of the style made popular by the punk-rocker era. Also this choker is one of my new favourite additions to my jewelry collection, it is from Hillberg and Berk.
These beautiful sheer pieces are designed and made by Laurie Brown. I wore this exact top in my very first runway show back in 2014 for Laurie Brown.
I will continue to be a huge supporter of socks and heels.
Here are the trousers featured in my last post, I am clearly obsessed.
Thank you again Kim for such a great day at your studio!
I was so excited when I found this purple suede jacket at my local thrift store. I wish the items I thrifted came with pictures of how the original owners wore them.
Sweater: Aritzia (thrifted) / Jacket: Sybilla (thrifted) / Jeans: Levi’s / Boots: Nevada (thrifted) / Belt: thrifted from Hazlewood Vintage / Necklace: my grandmother’s / Purse: Steve Madden /
With the term coming to an end, and winter soon approaching, I had the opportunity to showcase my favourite fall fashions on the Sasktel Blog! Here is one of the five looks that I created. Thank you to Nicole Romanoff for her wonderful photography! Check out my feature on the Sasktel blog here!

Back at last! I have been so busy and caught up in my studies recently but I am almost done term one of this year! The inspiration behind this outfit was watching the Park Luxe fashion show a year ago – some of the models were wearing socks and heels! I adored it, however the people I was sitting beside did not seem to fancy this trend as much as I did. So I was hesitant to wear that combination for the longest time until I realized, if I was inspired then what do I have to lose? So here I am in socks and heels and loving every moment of it!
Thanks to Ashley of Live Laugh Love Photography for the photography!
Once again, thank you Ashley for the amazing photography and always capturing my good side!
Heres to all of you to go out and wear something that inspires you without letting other people’s opinions bother you!
