1. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Fragrance – This perfume is my new favourite, I cannot describe it without using the words fresh, uplifting and deliciously sweet. This is such a delicate floral perfume that I will definitely be repurchasing. It scent lasts all day on clothes but I do find I tend to reapply it throughout the day, mostly cause I love to smell it again myself!

2. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Body Lotion – I love how this lotion smells exactly like the perfume, and it isn’t too strong. I like using the body wash, lotion and perfume together to build up the scent!

3. Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh Shower Gel – This body wash is heavenly to use in the shower, it foams and gives off the most pleasant aroma!

4. NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella – This colour is the perfect flattering matte red, and it has great lasting power! It is not too drying and applies easily and does not smudge!

NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien – This color is good for amping up the natural lip with a bit of colour and shimmer.

5. Garage Moon Necklace – This necklace is so intricate and delicate, I love its simplicity and ability add interest to an outfit.

6. Redken Color Extend Shampoo and Conditioner – After I got lowlights, my hairdresser recommended this duo and my hair colour hasn’t faded! They have a clean scent and are made with cranberry oil!

7. Clinique Moisture Surge Intense – This cream-gel is handy during the winter months. When my skin gets very dry, I like to use a lot as a mask for 10 minutes then pat in the excess. It is a very rich moisturizing cream that gives my face a very hydrated, smooth and glowing look. It does have a bit of an unpleasant scent however you cannot smell it once applied! A little goes a long way with this product! I recommend this for drier skin types.

8. KORRES Wild Rose Mask – This mask is packed full of Vitamin C and really helps to hydrate and brighten the skin. Really great to help improve sun damage and dryness.

9. Cake Milk Made Velveteen Hand Creme – Well if the fact that this lotion has marshmallow extract doesn’t win you over then I don’t know what will 😉 This lotion smells simply delicious and is a great lotion to keep in a purse to keep your hands super soft!

10. Voluspa Santiago Huckleberry Coconut Wax Candle – I purchase this scent of candle religiously from Indigo. The glass container is beautifully designed and the smell of this candle is sweet and delicious. The scent will actually be able to fill a room, which I love!

11. Scentsational Natural Soy Candle in Romantic – This candle gives off a delicate floral scent and is another great candle to have burning to give off a wonderful scent in your home.

Well there are my December favourites! What are your favourites?

Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush Review

cliniqueb2

I have been using Clinique products for over 8 years now, and they have become one of my favourite makeup and product brands. So when they launched their Sonic Purifying Cleansing Brush, I decided to get it and try it out!
I have never used any other kind of facial cleansing brush, so I do not have anything to compare it to, however I really love this cleansing brush.

How I use it: For over a month, every morning and night I cleanse my face with this cleansing brush for a little over a minute. The most important step is to have a cleansed face before you use this cleansing brush, especially making sure all eye makeup is removed. I think of using this brush to remove anything that gets left behind. This brush feels amazing on my skin, it is almost energizing! The white bristles are super soft and meant for your cheeks and the green bristles are meant to clean pores on the forehead, nose and chin. Some improvements I’ve noticed is the reduction of blackheads on my nose, also this brush gently removes flakes and gives my skin a healthy look.

Benefits: After washing my face with this cleansing brush, my skin feels so soft and clean. I’ve noticed that it also really helps any product absorb and work its wonders so much better as well. My skin glows now! The brush size is perfect to be able to cleanse the entire face. The brush is made so you can set it down flat and it won’t roll around! I absolutely love how the whole brush is waterproof, and I can take it into the shower! I find it really helpful that it only vibrates for 30 seconds, then stops. This way I can ensure I am not using it for too long and if it accidentally gets turned on it will not stay on and drain its battery!

Keep in Mind: For the first time using this brush, start with only using it for 30 seconds then work up to a minute. For the first week using this brush, I got a few tiny pimples on my face and my face got really dry. This is because before I only washed my face with my hands, and my face was adjusting to using the brush. Now my skin is used to the brush, and the brush actually really helps with clearing topical acne!

Maintenance: This brush is really easy to keep clean, after every use I remove the brush head and run it under water with a bit of mild tea tree soap and wipe it off and let the bristles air dry in the charging stand.

Price: The price of this product is fair, and it is a lot cheaper than other similar products on the market. However the quality and simplicity of this product really impress me. Replacement brush heads are also very affordable!

Along with the brush, I received a cute makeup bag with Clinique’s 3 Step Skin Care System, which I love using!

For this being Clinique’s first cleansing brush, I am really impressed with the product. I highly recommend it!

DIY Makeup Repair!

Eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers, any type of pressed powders are usually expensive however they are prone to breaking quite easily. I was almost at the point of throwing this palette away even though I loved the colours, so I decided to try the rubbing alcohol trick. This was actually a great, easy and cheap quick fix! […]
