This weekend has been a blast! On Saturday night I attended the Saskatoon Fashion and Design Festival Runway at the Mercedes-Benz Showroom and was blown away! I am proud to say that Saskatoon is very capable in showcasing a very high-end and sophisticated fashion show!
Upon arriving I was surprised to see live mannequin models standing around the room! Then my eyes turned to the Elite Bartenders juggling bottles and flame-throwing! The tables were decorated with beautiful flower arrangements and we all received a bag full of goodies!Photo taken by Jenna Taryn
Then the fashion show started, it was incredible to watch as beautiful models wearing multiple designers creations walked up and down the runway. It was inspiring to see such unique, fresh and up-and-coming clothing. From metallics to woven textiles the diverse creativity in the clothing was fantastic. In between the fashion show we were entertained by dancers from Abiding Lines Dance Co. and I was in awe at how many jumps and moves they could do within such a limited space! There was also a few tables set up with the designers creations that you could purchase!

One of the most memorable things from the fashion show was the bobby pins in the models hair. Hundreds of bobby pins were used to make a statement piece in the hair and it was beautiful and very unique! I will never be afraid to let my bobby pins show again! I definitely have to congratulate the CHEL Salonspa on those amazing hairstyles. Here the bobby pin detail is captured by Jenna Taryn
