Guide to a Healthier and Whiter Smile

Guide to a Healthier and Whiter Smile

A whiter smile is a sign of good mouth health and a good routine. My teeth stain and discolour easily, so I decided to step up my game a bit. I have been using these products for a while now and I will share with you all the results I have noticed.

Toothbrush: I use a soft bristled brush and I change it when it begins to show its age (about every 2 to 3 months). I brush at least twice a day.

Floss: The floss I am using right now is OralB Complete Satin Floss and I floss every single night. (I usually use Oral-B Glide Pro-Health Floss but I couldn’t find it this time). Flossing removes all the junk in your teeth that brushing cannot.

Toothpaste: I mainly use Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Toothpaste because I love the cleaning power it provides. My teeth are so smooth and white after using this toothpaste. Every week I will occasionally use Sensodyne Pronamel toothpaste to protect the enamel on my teeth.

Oil Pulling: So oil pulling is my new favourite thing. Take a teaspoon of organic cold-pressed coconut oil and swish it around in your mouth for 20 minutes. Yes I know this seems like forever but I usually do things during this so I forget about the time. This technique removes all stains, and will contribute to a very healthy mouth. Make sure to spit it out in the garbage and not down the sink, as it will plug the pipes. I cannot get over all the amazing things coconut oil is good for.

On the go: I keep the Everyday GLO Teeth Whitening Maintenance device in my purse so when at work or out with friends I can remove stains from a meal before they set in. You twist up the device and scrub the gel onto your teeth (I find the best way is to dry your teeth off and apply the gel and let it sit for about 5 mins, then close your mouth – no need to rinse).teeth2

I know most of this probably is not new information, but I do really enjoy using all these techniques and products so I thought I would share! 🙂
